Rob is an experienced and highly regarded project and programme manager who has delivered complex, high value projects in the Aerospace, Telecoms and Technology sectors. Rob is a full member of the APM, is qualified to APMP and PRINCE2 standards and has a Masters degree in International Technology Management from Warwick University.
Rob is also an accomplished project management trainer and consultant. During his four years at GEC’s Management College Rob delivered core project management courses into the GEC businesses. He worked closely with senior management within GEC, assisting them in the development and roll-out of key processes, such as Lifecycle Management, Risk Management and Earned Value Management.
Rob also delivered several “open” courses on related topics, such as Software Project Management, Contract Management and Project Planning and Control.
Since returning to industry in the late 90’s Rob has maintained his interest and passion in project management development. He led the development of his company’s Project Management Development Framework, a competency-based development tool for project managers. He also developed a Project Leadership programme, focused on the development of core leadership and management skills. He also delivered the “Professional” APM certification programme into parts the UK Civil Service, achieving an 85% pass rate.
Rob is currently a Project Director with QinetiQ, Europe’s largest Science & Technology Company.
